A contract position is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) near Sturgeon, MO, spanning from August 2026 through June 2027. This unique, full-time role offers an engaging split placement: providing services half-time at a special education preschool and half-time at an elementary school. This environment is ideal for professionals who value variety, collaboration, and making a meaningful impact across age groups.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Missouri SLP licensure, or eligibility to obtain
  • School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy plans and connect with students at varying developmental levels

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy to students in both preschool and elementary settings
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized IEP goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
  • Maintain detailed and compliant records for each student
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
  • Flexibility to divide time and responsibilities between two school sites
