Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. You’ll serve full-time (35–37.5 hours per week) from August 2026 through June 2027, splitting your expertise between a special education preschool and an elementary school. This unique arrangement allows you to work with children at two key stages of development, making a lasting difference in both settings.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Hold a valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
- Experienced with school-based services, preferably in both preschool and elementary environments
- Strong knowledge of IEP development, therapy planning, and documentation requirements
- Skilled in supporting children with diverse developmental, communication, and behavioral needs
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to partner with educators, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy for students at both a special education preschool and an elementary school
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized intervention strategies for students with speech, language, or communication delays
- Contribute to IEP meetings and create measurable goals
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation as required by school guidelines
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education teams, and families to promote student success
- Serve as a resource for staff and caregivers on speech and language development
