An opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to provide impactful therapy services in a healthcare and educational setting in Sugar Land, TX. This contract position offers flexibility with full-time or part-time options and a focus on serving pediatric and school populations. On-site work is preferred to foster direct engagement with clients and interdisciplinary teams.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active Texas licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience in school settings and exposure to healthcare environments
  • Familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
  • Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or SLPA experience valued

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs
  • Collaborate closely with caregivers, families, and professionals including Physical Therapists (PTs), Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), and Occupational Therapists (OTs)
  • Monitor patient progress and maintain detailed clinical documentation
  • Provide teletherapy services when applicable alongside in-person care
