Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Sugar Land, Texas

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current or eligible Texas SLP licensure
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
• Experience working in schools is highly valued
• Proficiency with AAC devices
• In-depth understanding of IEPs
• New grads and Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus

Core Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose a variety of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in a pediatric population
• Design and implement personalized treatment strategies, ensuring goals align with students’ unique needs
• Maintain detailed and compliant records of evaluations, care plans, therapy sessions, and progress notes
• Collaborate with educators, occupational and physical therapists, SLPAs, caregivers, and families to optimize outcomes
• Actively participate in IEP meetings, sharing valuable insights and recommendations
• Foster an inclusive and supportive therapeutic environment
