Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid or eligible Texas licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA CCC-SLP) highly preferred
  • Prior school-based experience, including with IEPs, is advantageous
  • Skilled in using AAC devices with students
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams (SLPA, PT, OT)
  • Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and support students with speech, language, communication, and swallowing needs
  • Develop, execute, and monitor individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP requirements
  • Engage with family members, caregivers, and educational team to foster communication goals
  • Maintain thorough, accurate therapy records and documentation
  • Monitor and clearly communicate student progress
