Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Current or eligible Texas SLP licensure
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Experience working in schools is highly valued
- Proficiency with AAC devices
- In-depth understanding of IEPs
- New grads and Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is a plus
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose a variety of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in a pediatric population
- Design and implement personalized treatment strategies, ensuring goals align with students’ unique needs
- Maintain detailed and compliant records of evaluations, care plans, therapy sessions, and progress notes
- Collaborate with educators, occupational and physical therapists, SLPAs, caregivers, and families to optimize outcomes
- Actively participate in IEP meetings, sharing valuable insights and recommendations
- Foster an inclusive and supportive therapeutic environment
