This role is based near Sugar Land, TX and seeks dedicated SLP or SLPA professionals to support student communication needs in a dynamic school environment. Candidates will be carefully matched to assignments following an interview; specific location details will be shared closer to the start of the year.

Ideal candidates demonstrate deep commitment to student growth and a collaborative approach within multidisciplinary teams, providing essential speech-language services in a school-based setting.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Active Texas SLP or SLPA license (submit screenshot with your application); SLPAs must already hold their license, as supervision hours will not be provided
  • Robust school-based experience as an SLP or SLPA
  • Bilingual ability is highly valued
  • Commitment to on-site, in-person services
  • Reliability and ability to arrange dependable transportation
  • No support for SLP-CFs at this time; only fully credentialed SLP-CCC or SLPA
  • Capability to complete HISD fingerprinting process within three days of contract signing

Daily Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services and assessments to students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educators and families
  • Maintain detailed documentation, progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings as needed
  • Contribute to a supportive, student-centered culture across varied school sites
