School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Sugar Land, Texas

A vibrant school setting in the Houston area (southwest side) is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support middle and high school students for the upcoming academic year. In this contract position, you’ll provide impactful services, helping learners thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Texas FL licensure for SLP (image of license required)
• Open to both seasoned SLPs and Clinical Fellows (CFYs)
• Comfortable working with students in grades 6–8 and/or 10–12
• Ability to meet time-sensitive credentialing and fingerprinting requirements
• Adaptable and flexible in supporting either full-scope SLP services—therapy, ARDs, testing—or focusing solely on supervision, depending on your experience and interest

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services and interventions for students based on individualized needs
• Participate in ARDs, conduct evaluations, and provide clear documentation and recommendations
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to develop communication strategies and student goals
• Manage a caseload of approximately 50–60 students, tailored to your grade-level preference (middle or high school)
• Help cultivate an inclusive, engaging, and positive school atmosphere for diverse learners

This on-site position considers your home ZIP code when assigning one or more campuses, supporting a balanced workload and minimizing travel. The assignment runs from August 11, 2026, through May 26, 2027, with full-time hours (37.5 per week). Prescreen interviews may be conducted as part of the selection process.
