Skills & Qualifications:
- Current and active Texas SLP license (please include an image of your license with your application)
- Fluency in the full range of SLP school-based services: therapy, ARDs, evaluations, and progress monitoring
- Experience or enthusiasm for working with students in grades 6–8 and/or 10–12, tailored to your preferred age group
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with diverse school teams
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50–60 students across assigned campuses
- Time-sensitive readiness for district credentialing, including fingerprinting (existing prints may qualify)
- Willingness to travel on-site (campuses assigned with consideration for your ZIP code)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy services in a supportive, dynamic school environment
- Conduct thorough assessments, participate in ARD meetings, and document student progress
- Collaborate with educators and special services staff to ensure individual student needs are met
- Provide support to both students and their families, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere
