Exciting opportunities are available for dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) in a dynamic school setting in the Sugar Land, TX area. This contract position runs through June 5, 2027, with full-time hours (35 hours per week, 4–5 days per week). You’ll work on-site across multiple campuses, supporting students with a variety of speech and language needs. The role is focused on direct student support in both elementary and secondary school environments, including potential work with self-contained classrooms.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Texas licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC required; no SLPA or CFs at this time)
- Demonstrated school-based SLP experience is essential
- Experience in early childhood centers is highly valued
- Adaptability to split your assignment between two campuses at either elementary or secondary level, as needed
- Skilled at collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals to support student goals
- Strong organizational abilities to navigate multiple school sites
- Effective communication skills with both students and staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with students’ IEP goals
- Deliver engaging, evidence-based speech and language interventions
- Consult with teachers and families on strategies for classroom and home support
- Maintain timely, compliant documentation and progress reports
- Serve as a key resource for school teams regarding communication disorders
