Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Sugar Land, TX

Step into a dynamic school-based setting, serving elementary and middle school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Work closely with a supportive district emphasizing a workload model to ensure manageable and meaningful student engagement—not just caseload numbers. Based at a centralized office, you’ll cover 2-3 schools on the west and northwest sides and benefit from one remote workday each week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality speech and language therapy to students from elementary through middle school
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with district guidelines
• Maintain accurate therapy, service, and progress records
• Supervise and mentor one Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Collaborate with teachers, administration, and families to support student success
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student IEPs
• Deliver direct intervention as well as consultation and training to school staff
• Balance service delivery effectively across a workload model

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Experience in school-based settings preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
• Ability to adapt therapy strategies for diverse student populations
• Previous supervision of support staff is a plus
