Make a lasting impact supporting students as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) working within educational programs in the Suisun City area. Several contract positions are available, with preference for in-person services; remote (VOCO) opportunities may be offered for roles where in-person is not required. These assignments span a variety of settings, grade levels, and caseload complexities—choose the one that best matches your skills and passion:

Open positions (please specify your preferred assignment when applying): a) 1.0 FTE, in-person, one site: Support two Special Day Classes (High School & Post-Secondary) serving both Intensive and Mild/Moderate needs. b) 1.0 FTE, in-person, two sites: 0.6 FTE in a Middle School Special Day Class (Intensive + Mild/Mod), 0.4 FTE in a Transitional Kindergarten (TK) Special Day Class. c) 1.0 FTE, one site: Serve mainstream students from TK to 5th grade, with no Special Day Classes. d) 1.0 FTE, in-person, two sites: 0.6 FTE in a TK-5 Mild/Mod program and 0.4 FTE supporting a Middle School Intensive + Mild/Mod caseload. e) 1.0 FTE, three sites: 0.5 FTE at TK-8, 0.2 FTE at TK-8, 0.3 FTE at TK-5—no Special Day Classes. f) 0.5 FTE, three sites: 0.2 FTE High School, 0.2 FTE Elementary, 0.1 FTE Elementary Mild/Mod.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid CA Speech-Language Pathology license and CCC-SLP credential
  • Previous experience in educational or school settings preferred
  • Ability to adapt to different ages, settings, and support needs
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Commitment to in-person or VOCO delivery, as appropriate to assignment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and deliver direct therapy to students with diverse speech and language needs
  • Collaborate with educational teams to develop and implement IEPs
  • Maintain documentation and progress reports in line with state and federal guidelines
  • Communicate effectively with staff, families, and support personnel
