Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Active Louisiana state SLP licensure (or ability to obtain before starting)
- Open to experienced SLP-CCC professionals, SLP-CFY, and those with pediatric or school-based backgrounds
- Ability to work effectively with children and school teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience in schools or pediatrics preferred but not required
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to students, including assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student educational goals
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district standards
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute clinical expertise
- Foster a positive learning environment for students of varying abilities
