Speech Language Pathologist in Summerland Key, FL

Requirements & Desired Background:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active, valid SLP license for the state of Florida
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
• Previous school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
• Proficient communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage flexible caseloads and work independently as well as within a team

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with their IEPs
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and timely student records and progress reports
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff to support student success
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for goal setting and progress updates
• Offer guidance and resources for classroom strategies and home support
