School Speech Therapist - Summerville, South Carolina

We’re searching for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to provide essential services while our in-house SLP is on maternity leave from August through October. Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid SLP licensure and CCC credentials
• Experience working in a school-based setting, preferably with K-8 students
• Ability to manage a dynamic student caseload and adapt to varied communication needs
• Strong collaboration skills to partner with teachers, staff, and families
• Excellent documentation and organizational abilities
• Comfort providing both group and individual therapy sessions

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech and language therapy to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Maintain accurate session notes and update progress reports as required
• Collaborate with education teams and families to maximize student outcomes
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to developing effective intervention strategies
• Support classroom teachers with tools and strategies to generalize skills
