Middle School Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in Sumter, SC

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Active and valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) through ASHA (or eligibility)
• Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly valued
• Skilled in assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring
• Able to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds and with varying levels of need
• Strong communication skills with teachers, administrators, and families
• Comfortable supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school levels

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for PreK-12 students
• Develop and implement targeted intervention plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
• Document student progress and maintain compliance with school and state requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other professionals to support student success
• Provide training and resources to staff and families as needed
