Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
  • Experience providing SLP services within school settings or with pediatric populations
  • Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet individual student needs
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional growth

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students referred for evaluation
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students, individually and in groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to facilitate student communication success
  • Document progress and maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings, support development of language goals, and communicate student needs and progress
  • Offer in-class support and recommendations to promote generalization of skills within the school environment
