Desired Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in Wisconsin
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
- Previous experience in a school setting highly desirable
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct formal and informal assessments to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), tailored to each student’s goals
- Deliver direct therapy services to students individually and in groups
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents to support student progress
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide resources, strategies, and consultative support to staff and families
