Step into an exciting opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with your ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support students’ communication needs during the Extended School Year (ESY) program. This contract role, conveniently situated near Sunnyvale, CA, is ideal for dedicated professionals ready to make a positive impact during the summer session. You’ll collaborate with special education teams to help children achieve their IEP goals and advance their speech and language skills in a supportive school setting.

Required Qualifications & Experience:
• Valid, active SLP license in California
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
• Experience working in a school environment preferred (previous ESY experience a plus)
• Strong communication skills for working with students, families, and educational staff
• Commitment to providing evidence-based therapy and maintaining documentation
• Flexibility and enthusiasm for working with diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver individual and group speech and language therapy for ESY-eligible students
• Complete assessments and participate in IEP meetings as required
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of student progress and required reports
• Collaborate with teachers, resource specialists, and families to support student growth
• Adapt therapy approaches for a variety of age groups and abilities
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
