Make an impact this extended school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC) supporting students near the Sunnyvale, CA area. In this contract role, you'll provide direct services and collaborate with educators to deliver effective communication interventions, helping students achieve their IEP goals throughout the summer session.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting SLP assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based therapy for students with diverse speech and language needs.
- Documenting progress and maintaining accurate case records in compliance with school and federal guidelines.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including special education staff and families, to ensure comprehensive support for every student.
- Fostering an inclusive and positive environment, accommodating a range of communication challenges within the school setting.
- Engaging in IEP meetings and contributing expertise to support effective service planning for the extended school year.
Desired skills and qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Active SLP-CCC certification.
- Experience working in school-based settings, preferably with knowledge of ESY (Extended School Year) services.
- California licensure (or eligibility to obtain prior to assignment).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration and rapport-building.
- Familiarity with virtual tools or hybrid service delivery is a plus.
