Desired Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid SLP licensure or eligibility in California
- Previous experience in a K-12 school environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and school-based documentation
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Dedication to culturally responsive and inclusive practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations of students to determine speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Provide direct therapy services and track measurable student progress
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student achievement
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input for educational planning
- Educate staff and families on speech-language development and strategies for support
