A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year, serving elementary and middle school students in Sunnyvale, California. This contract position offers a dynamic work environment across 2-3 school sites, providing services to a diverse caseload of up to 55 students ranging from PreK through 8th grade.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans targeting speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to support student progress and inclusion
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with district and state regulations
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expert input on student goals and accommodations

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license or certification
  • Experience working with students from PreK to 8th grade, preferably in a school setting
  • Ability to manage a caseload of up to 55 students with diverse speech and language needs
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of state and federal special education guidelines and best practices for speech therapy

Location: Sunnyvale, California – assignment includes support across multiple elementary and middle school sites.
