School Speech Language Pathologist - Sunnyvale, California

Step into a fulfilling full-time opportunity for the 2025-2026 school year, engaging with students across PreK to 8th grade in a dynamic school setting. This contract position offers the chance to support the development and growth of students by working across 2-3 nearby sites and managing a diverse caseload of up to 55 students.

Your expertise will provide a crucial impact on students’ communication skills, collaborating closely with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to tailor strategies that best serve individual needs and educational goals.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid state SLP license or eligibility
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Previous pediatric or school-based experience (PreK-8): highly desirable
• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, assess, and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers and families
• Conduct therapy sessions for students from PreK through 8th grade
• Document progress and maintain accurate, timely records
• Participate in IEP meetings; contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
• Provide consultation to staff and parents to support student success
• Travel between assigned sites as needed
