This contract position offers the chance to support the development and growth of students by working across 2-3 nearby sites and managing a diverse caseload of up to 55 students.
Your expertise will provide a crucial impact on students’ communication skills, collaborating closely with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to tailor strategies that best serve individual needs and educational goals.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state SLP license or eligibility
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous pediatric or school-based experience (PreK-8): highly desirable
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, assess, and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with teachers and families
- Conduct therapy sessions for students from PreK through 8th grade
- Document progress and maintain accurate, timely records
- Participate in IEP meetings; contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams
- Provide consultation to staff and parents to support student success
- Travel between assigned sites as needed
