Make an impact by supporting students’ speech and language development as a Virtual School Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract opportunity is based near Sunnyvale, CA and offers 3-4 days per week of engaging work with elementary and/or secondary school students in a supportive, collaborative educational environment. Start as soon as possible and use your expertise to help students overcome communication challenges and thrive academically and socially.
What you’ll bring:
- Current and valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Experience or comfort with virtual/remote (VOCO) speech therapy services
- Previous experience in a school setting, preferably as a School SLP
- Ability to manage therapy sessions, progress monitoring, and documentation in a digital platform
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to consult with teachers, families, and other professionals
- California SLP licensure or eligibility
Your responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services virtually to a caseload of students, 3-4 days per week
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain detailed documentation of student progress and session notes
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to ensure students’ goals are met
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
- Adapt interventions to meet individual learning styles and cultural backgrounds
