Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Active state SLP license (or eligibility)
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with IEP development and implementation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and identify students’ speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and provide targeted therapy
  • Participate in IEP meetings to ensure compliance and support student achievement
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to create integrated intervention strategies
  • Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation of services provided
  • Educate staff and families on strategies for communication development
