Make a difference in the lives of young learners as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting students from preschool through 2nd grade. Work onsite 2-3 days per week, with a flexible part-time schedule totaling 23-24 hours across 4 days. Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Active Speech-Language Pathology license for California
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Previous experience with early childhood and elementary populations preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP process and case management for speech students
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as case manager for a caseload of 25 students requiring only speech therapy
  • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to preschool-2nd grade students
  • Collaborate and consult with teachers, parents, and other special education professionals
  • Deliver IEP support for an additional 7-10 students who require speech and other special education services
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive therapy environment for all students
