Make a difference in the lives of young learners as a contract Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting students from preschool through 2nd grade. Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license for California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Previous experience with early childhood and elementary populations preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP process and case management for speech students
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as case manager for a caseload of 25 students requiring only speech therapy
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to preschool-2nd grade students
- Collaborate and consult with teachers, parents, and other special education professionals
- Deliver IEP support for an additional 7-10 students who require speech and other special education services
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain accurate documentation
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive therapy environment for all students
