Key Qualifications & Required Experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Prior experience working with school-aged children, especially in early elementary or preschool settings
  • Strong collaboration skills for partnering with teachers, case managers, and families
  • Solid understanding of IEP process and ability to provide effective IEP support and documentation
  • Organizational skills to manage a moderate caseload with both direct services and support tasks

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech and language therapy to a caseload of 25 speech-only students, acting as their dedicated case manager
  • Support 7-10 additional students needing speech in coordination with other SPED professionals, primarily through IEP involvement and team collaboration
  • Maintain detailed records of student progress and ensure compliance with all relevant educational and legal standards
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute observations and recommendations for student development
  • Engage families and school staff in supporting student communication goals and achievements
