This full-time, contract opportunity is ideal for an SLP or Clinical Fellow eager to support students throughout the entire school year. You'll work with KIPP schools in the vibrant Palo Alto and Redwood City region, collaborating with colleagues dedicated to student development.

Your expertise will help students access language and communication support critical to their success. The role is hands-on, rewarding, and full of opportunities to grow professionally while making meaningful connections with students, teachers, and families.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure as an SLP or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CF)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but not required
  • Experience working in school settings strongly preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student goals and documentation
  • Maintain accurate records and progress reports in line with school and district guidelines
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current on best practices
