School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Sunnyvale, California

Make a difference in education as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students and staff from August 14th through November 30th. Provide essential speech and language services during a mat leave coverage in a vibrant school setting near beautiful Sunnyvale, CA.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Valid state licensure for speech-language pathology
• Previous experience in a K-12 educational setting preferred
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Creative and flexible approach to supporting diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs)
• Provide direct therapy sessions, both individual and group, in line with student goals
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely records according to school and legal requirements
• Support IEP meetings and contribute professional insight for student progress
• Deliver speech and language resources, strategies, and support to staff and families
