Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license in California
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with educational teams and engaging families
- Ability to organize caseload, prioritize tasks, and maintain timely documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify students’ needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in cooperation with multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver direct and consultative speech/language therapy services to students with diverse needs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to facilitate effective communication strategies within the classroom and at home
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to educational planning
- Provide resources, training, and support to staff as needed
