School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Sunnyvale, California

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) license in California
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Previous experience working in schools or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with educational teams and engaging families
• Ability to organize caseload, prioritize tasks, and maintain timely documentation

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify students’ needs
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in cooperation with multidisciplinary teams
• Deliver direct and consultative speech/language therapy services to students with diverse needs
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, progress notes, and required documentation
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to facilitate effective communication strategies within the classroom and at home
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional insights to educational planning
• Provide resources, training, and support to staff as needed
