School Speech Language Pathologist - Sunnyvale, California

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Valid SLP license issued by the state of California
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
• Previous experience working with elementary age students preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to culturally responsive and student-centered care
• Ability to maintain accurate records and manage time efficiently

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide in-person speech and language therapy to elementary school students
• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine students’ needs
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ educational goals
• Maintain detailed and organized documentation of services and student progress
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Contribute insights to ongoing curriculum and program improvements
