Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current California SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- Prior experience working with children in educational settings strongly desired
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary team members
- Compassionate, patient, and committed to fostering student success
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services—both one-on-one and in small groups
- Maintain accurate and timely records, including progress reports, IEP documentation, and evaluation results
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
- Offer guidance and support for students’ families as they navigate intervention resources
- Stay current on best practices through ongoing professional development
