Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current California SLP license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply
• Prior experience working with children in educational settings strongly desired
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary team members
• Compassionate, patient, and committed to fostering student success

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students’ speech, language, and communication needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student goals
• Provide direct speech-language therapy services—both one-on-one and in small groups
• Maintain accurate and timely records, including progress reports, IEP documentation, and evaluation results
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate therapy strategies into the classroom
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans
• Offer guidance and support for students’ families as they navigate intervention resources
• Stay current on best practices through ongoing professional development
