Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply
  • Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations highly valued
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Dedication to promoting positive student outcomes

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in school-aged children
  • Develop and execute individualized treatment plans and goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with local and federal requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluations
  • Provide consultation and resources to staff and families regarding communication needs
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
