Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations highly valued
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Dedication to promoting positive student outcomes
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in school-aged children
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans and goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in compliance with local and federal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student evaluations
- Provide consultation and resources to staff and families regarding communication needs
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
