This full-time position (40 hours per week) places you at the heart of a K-8th grade campus in a specialized program designed for students with Autism Spectrum Disorders. You’ll be an integral part of a committed team, making a meaningful impact through evidence-based speech and language services for a caseload of approximately 50 students.
Ideal candidates excel at fostering communication skills in pediatric populations and shine in collaborative, school-based settings. You’ll use your clinical expertise and passion for student success to help children find their voices and thrive in the classroom and beyond.
Key Qualifications:
- Current or eligible Speech-Language Pathologist license (CCC or CFY accepted)
- Previous experience in school, pediatric, or healthcare settings preferred
- Background or interest in teletherapy service delivery is a plus
- Strong understanding of ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) and experience with specialized programs
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Capable of independently managing a caseload and developing IEPs
Role Highlights and Duties:
- Provide speech and language therapy for students in K-8th grades with ASD
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to integrate strategies
- Use a variety of therapeutic techniques, in-person or via teletherapy, as needed
- Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
