Qualifications:
- Active State SLP License (required)
- SLP Educator Certificate (required)
- Current IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Experience in school settings, especially with preschool-aged children or early intervention, preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations for preschoolers and students referred through Child Find
- Manage an evolving caseload; some clinicians focus on evaluations while others maintain ongoing therapy with larger groups
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with educational teams and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions
- Maintain accurate records and thorough progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Foster a positive, solution-oriented environment for students and staff
