This full-time assignment spans the academic year from early August through late May, with potential for date adjustments based on school needs. You'll provide essential speech and language services for Child Find and preschool programs, supporting students' communication development and helping prepare them for future success.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Current SLP Educator Certificate
  • Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience in school-based settings, preferably with preschool populations
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Responsibilities include:

  • Assessing and evaluating students referred for speech and language difficulties
  • Managing a varying caseload (ranging from 30 to 60 students, depending on evaluation responsibilities)
  • Delivering individualized and group therapy to meet targeted goals
  • Participating in multidisciplinary teams for eligibility and IEP meetings
  • Maintaining detailed records of evaluations, progress, and outcomes
  • Engaging with families, teachers, and support staff to foster student growth
  • Adhering to all district, state, and federal compliance requirements
