This role is crafted to provide coverage for two FMLA assignments and offers the chance to support diverse student needs from summer 2026 through early 2027.
In this position, you'll begin in late July covering Early Intervention services, focusing on home-based visits as part of a collaborative team. Come November, transition to work within learning centers, serving the ECSE population within the Roseburg area and surrounding Douglas County. This full-time role presents the unique opportunity to guide young learners through critical early development milestones while working alongside dedicated professionals.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state SLP licensure and ASHA CCC-SLP certification (or eligibility)
- Recent experience in school-based, Early Intervention, and/or ECSE settings strongly preferred
- Comfortable providing home-based services and working collaboratively with other therapists
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with both students and families
- Ability to manage a flexible caseload and work across a variety of environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language services to Early Intervention and ECSE populations as assigned
- Complete evaluations, diagnostics, and develop individualized speech and language intervention plans
- Collaborate closely with families, educators, and multidisciplinary team members
- Maintain detailed documentation, progress updates, and compliance with school procedures
- Support student goals in both home and learning center settings, adapting strategies to individual needs
