A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services across elementary, middle, and high schools in Suwanee, GA, located approximately 20 minutes north of Atlanta and 20 minutes west of Decatur. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive school environment with fellow SLPs and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs).

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to students across multiple grade levels, including elementary, middle, and high school.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of SLPs and SLPAs to support student progress.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
  • Conduct assessments and track student progress within the school setting.
  • Adhere to school policies, maintaining compliance with state and federal education regulations.
  • Note: Medicaid billing is not required for this role.

Qualifications:

  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school or healthcare settings.
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred but new graduates will be considered.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week; part-time candidates will also be considered.
