Step into a vital role supporting student communication and learning as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026–2027 school year. This full-time contract position is school-based and focuses on providing essential evaluation, intervention, and support to students with communication challenges that impact their educational progress.

You’ll work alongside educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to implement and monitor individualized plans, helping students overcome barriers and meet their academic potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough speech-language evaluations and needs assessments
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
  • Deliver direct and indirect therapy tailored to diverse student needs
  • Maintain accurate progress notes, reports, and compliance documentation
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary collaboration
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, therapists, and families to enhance classroom success
  • Adjust intervention strategies based on regular progress monitoring

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current Georgia SLP license and/or relevant educator certification
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred (Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply)
  • School-based experience is a plus; however, strong pediatric experience will also be considered
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
