Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-27 school year. This role offers placements at elementary, middle, and high schools, with full-time schedules of 40 hours per week—though part-time candidates are encouraged to apply as well. You will collaborate with dynamic support teams, including additional SLPs and SLPAs at every site. Located conveniently just north of Atlanta and west of Decatur, this position provides an ideal work setting for those passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and adolescents.
What we’re seeking:
- Valid SLP-CCC or CFY credential
- Background in school-based settings, pediatrics, or healthcare environments
- Experience with teletherapy services a plus
- Adaptable to the communication needs of elementary, middle, and high school students
- Strong collaboration skills for working with other SLPs, SLPAs, educators, and families
- Comfortable supporting IEP development and student progress monitoring
- Effective communication and organizational skills
Primary responsibilities include:
- Conducting assessments to diagnose communication disorders in school-aged students
- Implementing evidence-based speech, language, and communication interventions
- Collaborating with fellow SLPs, SLPAs, teachers, and other team members to ensure coordinated care
- Documenting services and progress in accordance with school protocols
- Delivering services on-site with possible teletherapy options for flexibility
- Participating actively in IEP meetings and parent conferences
- Supporting the professional growth of CFY candidates, if holding CCC certification
