Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Swansboro, NC

If you’re an enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC or CFY credentials, this full-time, 39-hours-per-week contract brings you the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children and adolescents. The assignment is located within a close-knit school community approximately an hour north of Wilmington, NC, providing both professional fulfillment and a wonderful quality of life.

What You Bring:

• Active or eligible Speech-Language Pathology license
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
• Background in pediatric and school-based SLP settings, or strong desire to work with students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to develop and implement effective, individualized intervention plans
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
• Comfortable working with a diverse student population

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students across all grades (K-12)
• Develop tailored IEP goals and closely monitor progress with supportive data
• Work collaboratively with teachers, families, and other specialists to enhance student success both in and out of the classroom
• Provide both individual and group therapy as needed, adapting strategies for each student’s unique needs
• Participate in school-based meetings and provide staff in-services as appropriate
• Maintain accurate compliance documentation in accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines
