Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid North Carolina SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Experience or enthusiasm for working in K-5 school settings
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Understanding of IEP development and implementation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and screenings for students with speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Monitor and document progress, participate in IEP meetings, and maintain accurate records
- Provide support and education to staff and families regarding communication disorders
