This full-time, contract position offers the opportunity to help children reach their communication goals in a supportive, collaborative school environment near Swansboro, NC. Whether you are an SLP with CCC, pursuing your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), or experienced in a school setting, your expertise will contribute to student success and growth.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid North Carolina SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
  • Experience or enthusiasm for working in K-5 school settings
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Understanding of IEP development and implementation

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and screenings for students with speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct therapy services in both individual and group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Monitor and document progress, participate in IEP meetings, and maintain accurate records
  • Provide support and education to staff and families regarding communication disorders
