School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time

Location: Freeport, Illinois area
Start Date: ASAP
Assignment End Date: June 7, 2027
Schedule: 37.5 hours per week
Setting: Elementary school
Work Arrangement: Onsite only

We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students at an elementary school in the Freeport area for the 2026–2027 school year.

Position Details

• Provide speech and language services in an elementary school setting

• Work at one school location

• Develop and implement individualized speech-language interventions

• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation

• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary school teams

• Support students in achieving their communication and educational goals

Schedule

• 37.5 hours per week

• Full-time

• Start ASAP

• Assignment through June 7, 2027

• Onsite only — remote work is not available

Qualifications

• Active Illinois SLP license required

• CCC-SLP or CFY candidates may be considered

• School-based or pediatric experience preferred

• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to work effectively with elementary-age students

Location

Position is based in the Freeport, IL area, with surrounding-area candidates encouraged to apply. Preference may be given to candidates located close to the school.
