Step into a rewarding opportunity working full-time from August to December, supporting elementary students as an SLP on a contract basis. This role is to cover a maternity leave, providing essential speech and language services to help young learners thrive during a pivotal period in their education.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current, valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience in a school setting, especially with elementary-aged children, is highly desirable
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Adaptable, collaborative approach to working with students, families, and staff

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage a diverse elementary caseload, delivering direct therapy and assessments
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other support professionals to ensure comprehensive student support and successful outcomes
  • Engage with parents and guardians to communicate student progress and recommendations
  • Maintain timely, accurate records and documentation to comply with school and legal standards
  • Contribute your expertise to build a nurturing, supportive, and inclusive environment for all students
