Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state SLP licensure and ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility
  • Previous experience in a school or adolescent setting preferred
  • Strong ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for high school students with speech, language, or communication challenges
  • Provide direct therapy services as outlined in students’ IEPs
  • Track student progress, maintain accurate records, and prepare required documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and communicate findings and recommendations to staff and families
  • Offer consultation and strategies to teachers to support students in classroom environments
  • Foster a supportive and encouraging space where students feel empowered
