Key qualifications and experience:
- Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY)
- Background in pediatric speech therapy, preferably in a school setting
- Experience with teletherapy or a willingness to learn virtual platforms
- Skilled in developing individualized treatment plans and delivering direct services
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
- Compassionate approach when working with students, families, and staff
Primary responsibilities:
- Provide speech, language, and communication interventions to K-12 students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and timely service documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and team meetings as needed
- Adapt to both in-person and teletherapy service modalities
