Desired Background and Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred; clinical fellows (CFY) considered
  • Experience with school-aged children or prior school-based placement an advantage
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP requirements
  • Deliver direct therapy services to address articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic difficulties
  • Monitor and document student progress; adjust interventions as necessary
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to support student achievement and generalization of skills
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to report writing and progress updates
  • Provide recommendations for classroom strategies and home carryover activities
