An exciting contract opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a K-12 school near Syracuse, NY, primarily serving elementary learners with some high school involvement. The assignment runs from September to June during the 2025–2026 academic year, providing vital services to a caseload of approximately 28 students. Your expertise will foster speech and language development in a dynamic, collaborative educational environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough speech and language assessments and create individualized therapy plans for each student
  • Deliver targeted therapy sessions addressing students’ unique needs and goals
  • Work alongside teachers, support staff, and administrators to implement recommended accommodations and foster student inclusion
  • Track student progress, adapting interventions in response to ongoing evaluation
  • Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute meaningfully to educational plans
  • Provide guidance and resources to parents and caregivers, enhancing their support for children at home

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid SLP license in New York or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Preferred experience in school settings and familiarity with school-aged children
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and relevant educational law
