This position seeks two dedicated SLPs to support both the north side of Onondaga (1.5 FTE) and the south side (0.5 FTE). Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure in New York
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
- Experience in school-based and pediatric environments strongly desired
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms is an advantage
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication screenings and assessments for K–12 students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs
- Deliver direct therapy services individually and in groups, both in-person and via teletherapy platforms as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress
- Maintain timely and accurate records in compliance with school and federal requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and team conferences
- Provide mentorship and support to a CF candidate, ensuring a nurturing clinical fellowship experience
