Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Syracuse, NY

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure or eligibility in Speech-Language Pathology.
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), or candidates completing CFY.
• Pediatric and school-based experience preferred, including IEP development and delivery.
• Experience with teletherapy platforms and technology for remote service delivery.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work at multiple sites if needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough speech, language, and communication assessments.
• Develop, implement, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with student support teams.
• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students across a range of age groups.
• Maintain ongoing documentation, data tracking, and progress reports according to district and state requirements.
• Engage with families and educators to support student goals and generalization of skills.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, staff training, and school events.
• Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed to provide virtual services.
