Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Tacoma, WA

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current or pending Washington state SLP license
• SLP-CCC credentialed therapists and Clinical Fellows (CFYs) are both encouraged to apply
• Strong communication skills and a passion for supporting student success
• Eagerness to work with a varied K-12 caseload and adapt to students’ individual needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement therapy for students with speech and language disorders
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain timely documentation and progress reports according to school and state guidelines
• Engage with students across different age groups, effectively managing a K-12 caseload
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning for each student
