This is a full-time, contract role designed for professionals dedicated to fostering academic and personal growth through communication support. You’ll become an integral part of a collaborative student services team, addressing a diverse range of speech and language needs across both elementary and secondary grade levels.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current or pending Washington state SLP license
- SLP-CCC credentialed therapists and Clinical Fellows (CFYs) are both encouraged to apply
- Strong communication skills and a passion for supporting student success
- Eagerness to work with a varied K-12 caseload and adapt to students’ individual needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and implement therapy for students with speech and language disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain timely documentation and progress reports according to school and state guidelines
- Engage with students across different age groups, effectively managing a K-12 caseload
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning for each student
