A K-12 school in Tacoma, WA is seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide onsite services for the current school year contract ending June 12, 2026. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with a caseload of 45-50 students across grades K-12 in a dynamic educational setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech-language therapy services to students based on individual therapy plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student communication development
  • Maintain accurate documentation and assessment records in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on student progress
  • Ensure all sessions are conducted onsite as virtual candidates will not be considered

Qualifications:

  • Hold a current Washington State Speech-Language Pathologist license or be willing to obtain one before starting
  • Must be fingerprinted through the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) or be willing to complete the required fingerprinting
  • Experience working with school-age children and familiarity with K-12 caseloads preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to provide services collaboratively within a school environment

This position requires full-time availability (37.5 hours per week) during the school year and adherence to onsite work policies. Candidates with a commitment to student growth and compliance with Washington state licensing and fingerprinting standards are encouraged to apply.
