A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Tacoma, WA, supporting students from Kindergarten through 12th grade. This contract position requires onsite presence, with no virtual options offered.

Key Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Valid Washington State SLP License or eligibility to obtain one
  • Completion of OSPI fingerprinting or willingness to complete the process
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Experience working as an SLP within a school setting
  • Ability to manage caseloads ranging from 45 to 50 students

Location:

  • Tacoma, WA, working directly within the school environment

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language evaluations and interventions for K-12 students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to develop individual education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain accurate records and submit reports in compliance with school policies and regulatory standards
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall educational development of students
