School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Tacoma, Washington

These contract roles will fill important needs in student care, working alongside a collaborative special education team dedicated to meaningful progress and inclusion.

Key Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active, valid state license as an SLP (CCC-SLP preferred)
• Recent experience providing speech and language services in a K-12 school environment
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities
• Comfortable working exclusively onsite; virtual SLPs and SLPAs will not be considered
• Committed to evidence-based practice, culturally responsive care, and IEP documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct therapy services to students with a range of speech and language needs
• Assess and identify speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Collaborate with teachers, aides, administrators, and families to support student growth
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and comprehensive documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
• Participate in case conferences, professional development sessions, and ongoing training opportunities
