An excellent opportunity is available for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to work onsite for the 2026–2027 academic year serving a diverse K-12 student population. This contracted position is located near Tacoma, WA, and offers a rewarding chance to make a positive impact within a vibrant school community. You’ll be part of a collaborative educational team, supporting students’ communication needs and helping them reach their fullest potential.

Key Qualifications:

  • Washington State SLP license (or willingness to obtain before start date)
  • Current or eligibility for Washington ESA certification
  • Completion of fingerprinting requirements through OSPI
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Compassionate approach to working with children and adolescents in K-12
  • Ability to work onsite throughout the academic year

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct speech-language therapy to K-12 students as outlined in IEPs
  • Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to educational planning
