This contract opportunity offers a blend of pediatric and school-based practice settings for an enthusiastic Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) dedicated to making a difference.

In this role, you'll work a consistent 35-hour week across the current school year (CSY), extended school year (ESY), and next school year (NSY). The caseload is still being finalized, so the team can flexibly match you with the best fit for your area of strength and interest.

Qualifications:

  • Active Washington SLP licensure required
  • Completion of SLP-CCC or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted
  • Two or more years’ professional experience preferred, especially in pediatrics and schools
  • Must hold an active Medicaid provider number, have a current CAQH profile, and be credentialed with relevant insurance companies
  • Strong ability to collaborate and communicate within multidisciplinary educational teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide intervention for students with a range of speech, language, and communication challenges
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with school and state guidelines
  • Deliver engaging therapy sessions in both individual and group formats
  • Consult with teachers, families, and school staff to support students’ growth and generalization of skills
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation for Medicaid and insurance billing as well as student progress
