This position offers two openings, with assignments running from September 2, 2026, through June 17, 2027. Your schedule will typically run 37.5 to 40 hours each week, with a start time of 8:00 am—though your daily hours may vary based on school assignments, meetings, and special events, allowing for adaptability as you provide support where it’s needed most.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license for Washington State (or eligibility)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
- Experience with school-based therapy preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Comfort managing a caseload of approximately 50 students
- Flexibility in working with diverse age groups and student populations, with your preferences taken into account
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans (IEPs) for students
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
- Document student progress, maintain records, and participate in team meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student achievement
- Adapt therapy approaches as needed to best meet students’ needs
