Key Qualifications and Experience Sought:

  • Current or eligible Speech-Language Pathology license (Washington)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) highly preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFY) will be considered
  • Experience in pediatric or school-based SLP environments is a strong asset
  • Familiarity with IEP process, speech/language evaluations, and individualized therapy plans
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working closely with students, families, educators, and school administrators
  • Flexibility, organizational skills, and passion for helping young learners thrive

Core Responsibilities:

  • Provide both direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students from diverse backgrounds
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop tailored treatment plans addressing articulation, fluency, voice, and language disorders
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations, participate in IEP meetings, and maintain clear documentation
  • Collaborate with school staff and caregivers to create supportive learning environments
  • Offer guidance and strategies for classroom integration of communication goals
  • Stay current on best practices in school-based speech-language pathology
