Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current WA state SLP license or eligibility to obtain prior to start
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; CFY candidates considered
- Previous experience working in school settings strongly desired
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to develop individualized plans and effectively manage a caseload of students with diverse needs
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and therapy plans tailored to each student
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
- Document ongoing progress, maintaining all required records and reports in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Offer support and resources for families and staff to maximize communication outcomes for students
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff discussions, and ongoing professional development
