Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state license or eligibility to obtain licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is highly desirable; CFY candidates are also welcome
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred, but not required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective problem-solving abilities and adaptable to diverse student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students
- Develop and implement individualized IEP goals and therapy plans
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services in one-on-one and group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student progress
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, team consultations, and professional development
