Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Tacoma, WA

Step into a rewarding role supporting elementary students as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist for the full academic year. This is a full-time, contract opportunity serving a caseload of approximately 35 students in a lively and collaborative school environment near Tacoma, WA.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid Washington SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Prior experience working with school-aged children, especially at the elementary level, is highly desirable
• Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct speech and language therapy to elementary school students across a variety of speech, language, and communication needs
• Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
• Conduct speech and language screenings, evaluations, and re-evaluations as needed
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on IEP development and student progress
• Maintain accurate, timely records and documentation per school and regulatory requirements
• Provide consultation and support to teachers and families regarding individualized strategies for student success
