School Speech Language Pathologist - Tacoma, Washington

Work closely with elementary-aged students, providing essential services to a manageable caseload of approximately 35 learners. Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain, as required
• Experience serving elementary-age students in a school-based setting
• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for helping children achieve communication goals
• Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Exceptional organizational and documentation abilities

Responsibilities:

• Deliver onsite speech-language therapy sessions to a caseload of 35 elementary students
• Conduct assessments, complete evaluations, and interpret results for educational planning
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy with classroom instruction
• Develop, implement, and monitor progress on IEP goals, adjusting approaches as needed
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation consistent with school and state guidelines
• Provide guidance and support to classroom staff regarding communication strategies
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and multi-disciplinary teams
