Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Valid state license for Speech-Language Pathology practice (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is strongly preferred
  • Ability to conduct assessments, develop individualized goals, and deliver evidence-based therapy
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with both staff and parents

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and therapy plans
  • Provide direct treatment services individually and in small groups
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ needs
  • Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, progress, and treatment outcomes
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and provide input for educational planning
  • Offer consultation and training to school staff regarding strategies for student support
